Dar-Dar is a mythical Basque demon that eats fingers. He says: ‘Dar, dar, dar, bring your finger for dinner. If you decline, I will return at night time and your soul will be mine’.

Such beautiful cinematography! The lighting was superbly captured. The design for the Dar-Dar creature was also superb, with a great performance by Elias Garcia. The whole cast was tremendous! happy to see Basque legend and folklore represented!
What a film! Being one big fan of silent movies and black & white films, I simply adored it! I love the way the director uses both sound and silence. It really looks like a tale about childhood and fear. Almost a fairy tale, only darker. The new Robert Eggers is here!
Wow, One of my favorite movie in this festival so far ! Compelling story, i liked the narration using mute movies technique, very nicely done The best part is the Monster design and his way of moving, very awesome and congrats to the makeup designers and the actor behind the creature The story and the eating moments were great, very tense and all, sad ending but realistic knowing how the characters are build through the film
Simply AMAZING. I was amazed with the style, the interpretations, the SFX.... The music deserves a separate mention, it's incredible how it contributes to enter into the story and the terrible atmosphere. Long live the Basque cinema. ZORIONAK!
